What a f'n great show that was! What a brilliant scene! To think that at age 5 I already knew "good shit" when I saw it. ;)
I still think Nesmith should fully embrace his monkeyed past, though. Shouldn't we all?
Oh, and Terri Garr is in it too?!?!?!! Wow! Love that woman. She's fab and she looks good in underwear.
It's from Head, the thoroughly postmodern Monkees movie. I couldn't find the bit where Mike Nesmith lectures a surprise party on good manners.
ahh, HEAD. I'm not sure I ever saw it. Though I vaguely recall it being on once upon a time when I lived in the communal AUP house in Illinois.
Well, that accounts for why I didn't remember this scene!
